Boris Loginov (b. 1990, Kyiv) is a Ukrainian composer and performer based in Freiburg, Germany. He works across various genres, creating instrumental and electroacoustic music, as well as working in film, video, and installation art.


 

Fellow of the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program (Germany, 2025), Dartmouth College resident within Harris Program (USA, 2024), participant of the fellowship-program Weltoffenes Berlin (Germany, 2022-2023), Stipendienprogramm U*music des DMR (Germany, 2022), scholarship program of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland "Gaude Polonia" (Poland, 2019). Also participated in composition masterclasses at: Festival Mixtur (Spain, 2023), the Envision Sound program by the British Council and Dovzhenko Center (Ukraine, 2018), and Kyiv Contemporary Music Days (Ukraine, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021); with mentors including: Jaime Reis, Stefan Prins, Annette Vande Gorne, Elizabeth Anderson, Oxana Omelchuk, Mehmet Can Özer, Michael Price and Alla Zahaykevich.


Performed at: Kyiv Contemporary Music Days (Kyiv, Ukraine), Jauna Muzika (Vilnius, Lithuania), LIMINA Festival (Salzburg, Austria), Gaudeamus Festival (Utrecht, Netherlands), Festival Mixtur (Barcelona, Spain), New-York Ukrainian Contemporary Music Festival (NY, USA), Festival DME (Lisbon, Portugal), New Music Edmonton (Edmonton, Canada), Translatorium (Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine), Translationale Berlin (Berlin, Germany), UpToThree Festival (Berlin, Germany), Odessa Classics (Odesa, Ukraine). Also performed during: presentation of project "Planeta Ukrain 2022" in the framework of Triennale Milano (Milan, Italy), projects of Collegium Musicum (Lviv-Rivne, Ukraine), Kiezsalon and Digital in Berlin (Berlin, Germany), 50° Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte (Montepulciano, Italy), Dzenzelivka Classical Week (Dzenzelivka, Ukraine) etc.
